Pinot Bianco, in Italy, produces a crisp, medium-bodied dry white wine. It is mainly grown in northeastern Italy, especially in the provinces of Alto-Adige, Veneto and Friuli. Pinot Bianco is is believed to have originated in France's Burgundy region where it is known as Pinot Blanc

Pinot Bianco is Medium straw-yellow in color with a somewhat fleeting aroma of green almonds, it's medium-bodied with a light fruitiness and crisp acidity. Using oak adds vanilla and cream tones and imparts a Chardonnay-like texture and finish.
